About Me

My name is Glenn, and I run GT Electronics, specialising in audio equipment and PCB repair. With over 30 years of experience as an electronic engineer, I work with musicians, studios, and businesses to repair everything from synthesizers and amplifiers to industrial and commercial control boards.

I’m an authorised service centre for Casio and have extensive experience with brands like Korg, Roland, Yamaha, Fender, and Marshall. I also repair PCBs from agricultural machinery, automation systems, and hard-to-replace equipment.

Based in Dawlish, I offer both workshop repairs and on-site service across Devon and Cornwall. If it’s audio or PCB-related, I’m here to help.

My Workshop

My workshop, established in 2006, located in Dawlish, Devon has all the available tools and equipment needed to diagnose and fix a wide variety of electronic equipment.

Heading towards Dawlish town I am located first left, just past Sainsbury’s and the pedestrian crossing behind Warmer Windows and Pride Fitness.

In The Community

Have you heard of repair cafes? They were originally set up in the Netherlands in 2009 with the aim of helping people fix items for free to avoid waste and to build a sense of community. Currently, there are 6 repair cafes in Devon with more planned in the coming year and there are over 1619 across the world, in 33 countries.

The 8 Devon repair cafes are run by the community for the community. Skilled menders and talented amateurs give their time and expertise for free to help people fix items that might have otherwise been thrown away. They usually run monthly and depending on who is there and what skills they have, they will attempt to fix everything from hairdryers to bikes to jewelry repairs.

I regularly attend the Repair Cafe’s which is a Devon County Council led initiative to repair any broken electronic items destined for landfills. Look out for news in your area from Devon County Council and I will attempt any electrical repair onsite at no cost.
